PSI is a growing R & D Engineering company that develops Custom Material Handling and Automated Packaging Solutions with a second division providing Printing and Document Handling Solutions.
We are now recruiting for a Territory Sales Engineer/Manager with experience in industrial or packaging automation sales.
We are also seeking for a Sales Professional in our Printer and Document Handling Division.
These positions would be based out of our corporate office in Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new customer opportunities and determine needed resources to close new business and generate additional revenue.
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from trade publications, business directories, trade shows and internet leads.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business case.
- Participate in the creation, presentation and sales of a complete value proposition via the telephone, Internet, and customer meetings.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close the sale as required.
- Review and prepare documents to meet customer specifications.
- Forecast monthly and annual business plan showing projected sales and quotas.
- Understand products, applications, markets and customers to better recommend solutions to prospective customers.
- Execute developmental and application solution sales with end user, OEM, and PSI customers at the enterprise and the operations/production levels.
- Daily communication with prospects and customers.
- Attain monthly and yearly sales goals established by management.
- Travel Canada, the USA, and possibly other countries.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience
- Technical diploma or degree from college or university.
- 5 to 10 years field sales and/or technical application experience.
- Ability to excel within a developmental/top-down, solution selling model.
- Ability to sell direct and/or work with distribution channels.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Organization skills to manage schedule and follow up on accounts.
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
