PSI is a growing R & D Engineering company that develops Custom Material Handling and Automated Packaging Solutions with a second division providing Printing and Document Handling Solutions.

We are now recruiting for a Territory Sales Engineer/Manager with experience in industrial or packaging automation sales.

We are also seeking for a Sales Professional in our Printer and Document Handling Division.

These positions would be based out of our corporate office in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new customer opportunities and determine needed resources to close new business and generate additional revenue.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from trade publications, business directories, trade shows and internet leads.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business case.
  • Participate in the creation, presentation and sales of a complete value proposition via the telephone, Internet, and customer meetings.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close the sale as required.
  • Review and prepare documents to meet customer specifications.
  • Forecast monthly and annual business plan showing projected sales and quotas.
  • Understand products, applications, markets and customers to better recommend solutions to prospective customers.
  • Execute developmental and application solution sales with end user, OEM, and PSI customers at the enterprise and the operations/production levels.
  • Daily communication with prospects and customers.
  • Attain monthly and yearly sales goals established by management.
  • Travel Canada, the USA, and possibly other countries.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience

  • Technical diploma or degree from college or university.
  • 5 to 10 years field sales and/or technical application experience.
  • Ability to excel within a developmental/top-down, solution selling model.
  • Ability to sell direct and/or work with distribution channels.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Organization skills to manage schedule and follow up on accounts.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
